Diving with Sharks...





In the last year, my husband and I picked up a new "hobby"...  DIVING!!  Our experience has been amazing and I do recommend it 100% to anyone that loves water (salt water, for us)...

So, we went with a super-amazing group of people to the Bahamas a week ago...  and we did a couple of shark-dives...  and it was one amazing adventure!!!  Sharks are beautiful and mis-understood creatures :)  I was expecting this to be scary and it was SO NOT...  I loved it!!!

If you're ever in the Bahamas and are looking for an adventure...  Check out Stuart Cove's!!  The people there are super friendly...  You will have a great time :)

Little Lucas' Dedication

So, I will be traveling to see my family soon...  Specifically, we are going for Lucas' (my nephew) Dedication.  Its a custom at our church to "dedicate" a child to God as it was done in Bible times...  And this gives Auntie the great excuse to create a cute little outfit for him...  I used a pattern by Kathy Harrison (Christening 2 Collection)...  and it turned out beautifully :)  I cant wait to see him wearing it!!!

Bath Towels

I've been wanting to do this for a while now...  So, yesterday I decided to try it :)

I designed a monogram for our bath towels...  One with my initial on it and one with my husband's...  this way, we can keep track of  "Who's towel is it anyway?" - LOL!!  And I REALLY liked how they turned out...

Simple Quilts

I am no "expert" in the art of quilting...  However, it's got my attention and I have to say...  I kinda like it :)  Here are some pictures of the quilts I've made so far...  They are small quilts...  easy enough that I can do them myself (from cutting, piecing, quilting, binding)...

This was my first one!!  A "Cupcake Quilt" and it measures approximately 38" x 55".

This flower one is approximately 35" x 53".  It has a green backing (since I wasnt able to post the picture - having some technical issues)

These are the ones I am currently working on...  The top is finished, but I still have to quilt/bind...
